Transportation in La Paz

Taxis are available in the city of La Paz and the prices are very reasonable, usually from 5 to 10 bucks for a race in town. The aguila and Sucursal Malecon Companies are serving the city with buses. Local transport involves the following average costs: a ticket is 9.00 MXN, the gasoline (1 liter ) is 9.38 MXN.

Shopping in La Paz

You can walk on the streets in downtown La Paz and you’ll see plenty of small shops where you can buy souvenirs. Since this is a coastal city you can get fresh seafood. Do not forget to taste the shrimp, the lobsters, the abulón, the snail and others. La Paz serves the best fish tacos in Mexico. The Bismark Cito in the beachfront is serving tacos and shrimp.

If you eat in a restaurant in the city of La Paz, a cheap meal can cost about 78.50 MXN, a table for two that includes three dishes, can cost about 285.00 MXN. The cost of indigenous beers (0.5 liters) is 12.37 MXN, while the imported beer (0.33 liter bottle ) is 27.00 MXN. A Cappucino costs 28.00 MXN, a Coke/Pepsi (0.33 liter bottle ) costs 13.50 MXN and a mineral water (0.33 liter bottle ) costs 12.50 MXN.
