Traveling to Mexico is not Mexican enough if you did not try their Mexican cuisines. Imagine starting the day with a Mexican Breakfast Casserole, it makes it a wonderful journey with those extra cheese, Cheddar, eggs and meat all in a casserole. Pretty heavy for breakfast if you are only used to a slice of bread or toast and a cup of coffee. However, if you are having a long day and out in the sun, this breakfast might save you a lot of hunger pangs later in the day. Mexican food is well-known for having some spicy or mild salsas. Besides have the classic and fun Margaritas, you can try out various types of fruity ones as well. For Mexican Pot Roast Tacos, Beef shoulders are commonly the favourite part of the meat used to make the Mexican Pot Roast Tacos. This is not a dish for the weekday as it takes hours to make.

Fajitas or Enchiladas?

Can’t decide if you should try the Fajitas first or the Enchiladas? Well, do not need to brood over it, just order both as they are both so delicious. The Tex-Mex or Mexican cuisine of grilled meat like skirt steak or cut of beef served as a taco is something anyone will enjoy. Whether is it on a flour or corn tortilla it tastes just as fantastic. There are chicken or pork versions, sometimes, shrimp version can be found as well. In certain restaurants, you will get the meat that is cooked with bell peppers and onions. The condiments like shredded lettuce, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, salsa, tomato, and pico de gallo are rather the most favoourited. Pico de gallo is the name of salsa fresca. Mainly made from fresh and uncooked condiment like white onion, chopped tomato and typically jalapenos. Guacamole is simply avocado-based paste. It is rather easy to prepare as you just need to mash up ripe avocado and sea salt. It is made more delicious with addition of onion, lime juice, tomatoes, chili and sometimes yoghurt.

Enchiladas

When you see a corn tortilla rolled around fillings that consists of cheese, meat, beans, vegetables, potatoes (sometimes even seafood), that is what is called the ‘enchiladas’. There is a Mexican Enchilada Suiza Lasagna which is made with Cheese, pasta, Monterery Jack and Queso. The Monterey Jack is a semihard cheese and sometimes also use in quesadillas. Queso on the other hand is a soft creamy and mild unaged white cheese.
