The Island of Cozumel abounds of tropical vegetation, corals and natural parks. The main attractions are the beaches, the water sports and the ruins of Mayan civilization.

It is one of the best places for those who like diving because there is the second largest reef in the world, which attracts scuba diving funs from around the world throughout the year.

Currently the Island of Cozumel is an attraction mainly because of the clarity of the water with an abundant variety of tropical fish, underwater visibility reaching 30-60 meters, depending on the season.

The most popular beaches are: Chankanaab National Park that has a pool inside, which is connected to the sea through an underwater tunnel, Playa San Francisco, and Playa Palancar.
