Party goers can join at the end of the race big festivals and parties in Manzanillo. If you do not want to join the crowd, it is best to avoid the Easter Week. Otherwise, book really ahead of time in advanced to avoid disappointment. Easter is one of the busiest time since lots of Mexican flocked to Puerto Vallarta, being one of their favourite destination. Fishing enthusiasts will not want to miss the major international fishing tournament happening in November. It is called the International Fishing Tournament Marlin & Sailfish.

Shopping at plazas or with small traditional traders is the way to buy the special Mexican arts and crafts. You can order the item to get it delivered instead of carrying them all around with you. Such a service is such a pampering. Be aware to not fall into the trap of buying a cheap imitation of silver. It is called Alpaca and the way to avoid the trap is buy looking for the official silver marks. One tip, do learn some Spanish before your trip and negotiate for a better price.
